Its the time which makes the difference in everything. it was 1994 and their was a telephone booth near the MLA quaters , it happened that my brother friend lease it and i used to earn little bucks working their.
I was in so hurry to go home as it was raining that day and the time is 8 pm, a police man came to the booth. I told him its closed, but he requested that he had to call & its urgent. I said only for 5 min, he went to STD cabin and dialed the number.
I used to check the time and STD code at my desk, so that i can charge the money .

I saw that he is using STD of our state, which is not necessary and i told him to remove first 2 number and then call so that it can be a local call. Police man calling.
Mean While on another phone, i got a call and i answered , "Hello" person on phone told me that I should wait their and he is going to pick me to take me to home. I asked him, who is he, he Said i am your brother,but his voice differed.
I said that my brother won't call me as he is out of the city, who the hell are you,
i hanged the phone. Again phone rang, i ignored it.
Now the police man paid the bill and asked me to wait for a while as he has a missed girl of 10 years old and she is afraid of him, If she can talk to me.i said ok, but the time was 8.10pm.
The girl came and i asked the girl where is your home, she said she don't know and she wrote a number and given to me, the police man said he dialed the same number twice its connecting & dropped .

I saw the number and it look familiar & i checked it is my telephone booth number, i am surprised and asked the girl who gave this number to you, she said my brother, i checked the recent calls yes it's police man called our booth number and i got the call from police man. (Dropped call)
Now I checked calls @8.05 the same number of the booth but with last 2 digit different.
2 calls outgoing from police, incoming which I Received.
but whom did police man called, i don't know.
I redialed the call i got and it's connected. The person on the phone answered, i asked him is your sister missing, he said yes.
The time is 9pm, the girl's brother came. I asked him how did he know our booth no and how he know that his sister is here. he showed me my Booth door on which the number is written in bold and said that he got a call from the booth and dropped.
so he thought it would be her sister, he told me how did the girl missed.
The brother also dropped me and said thanks i too said thanks.

When i said this story to My brother he said, you are a brainless person, when u saw STD code can't u see the no and at the same time,
when u get a call can't U wait for other person to finish their word.
As no one calls to a pay phone without reason.
My brother praised the brother consensus and police man duty.
Anyway my brother won't appreciate me ever, but very nice.
Later the booth is gone because of road widening.
I saw the place now, i recall my booth time stories.
